Urgent Care Clinic Manager

Hours: 8:00-4:30
Reports to the Practice Manager and works under the direct supervision of the Medical Director/Physician(s), the Urgent Care Clinic Manager (UCCM) is responsible to coordinate and supervises operation and duties of administrative, clerical, and clinical staff as well as the day to day operations for the Urgent Care Center(s) of Emerson Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Two or more years of medical management experience required.
Allied Health Degree desirable and previous medical/nursing experience helpful. Familiarity with medical billing systems, medical coding, and basic medical terminology Understand and be competent to perform the front desk registration and medical assistant position Proficient to use and train others in common PC applications including Internet, Email, Microsoft Office, Meditech, and GE Centricity Superior customer service skills to handle escalated issues Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current staff Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant management experience in a medical/physician's office or emergency room required.
Licensure and/or Certification: CPR/BLS certification required and maintained
