Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Be a Vital Link in Patient Care
Join our team as a Patient Transport Member, where you’ll play a key role in keeping our hospital running smoothly and ensuring patients get to the care they need, safely and on time. You’ll coordinate transport requests, dispatch staff and volunteers, and help create a seamless experience for patients, families, and the care team.
Reporting to the Transport Team Leader, you’ll be the hub for patient movement, using both phone and computer systems to manage requests efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and dispatch patient transport requests to staff and volunteers
- Communicate clearly and professionally with hospital staff, volunteers, and patients
- Monitor transport schedules to ensure timely patient movement
- Use computer systems and email to manage requests and track assignments
- Help support a smooth workflow in a busy hospital environment
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information responsibly
- Assist in fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
What You Bring
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Licensure & Certification
- None required

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff and volunteers from diverse backgrounds
- Clear and effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
