Surgical Services Service Line Technologist

Job Summary

• Under the direction of the Nurse Manager the Service Line Coordinator is responsible and accountable for optimizing available resources while independently and collaboratively assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the performance of their service(s). In collaboration with the Nurse Manager and perioperative leadership team, the Service Line Technologist is responsible for providing leadership, education, technical expertise and functional direction to other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Graduate of an accredited program of Surgical Technologist required.
• Experience
  • Minimum of five years employment as Surgical Technologist required.
  • Preference card management
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • Certification in Surgical Technology required.
  • BLS healthcare provider required.
• Skills
  • Demonstrated and documented clinical and technical skills exceeding the expectations of performance of a staff Surgical Technologist Skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills required.
