Sr Histotechnologist

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Pathologists and Cytology/Pathology Supervisor, and within defined departmental policies and procedures, processes all specimens submitted for histological analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in science.
• Experience:

• • At least three years prior experience in a Histology.

• Licensure and/or Certification:
  • HT/HTL (ASCP) certification.
• Skills: 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
