Clinical Social Worker – Full Time
32–40 hours per week | Flexible scheduling
Reporting to the Social Work Supervisor, the Clinical Social Worker provides compassionate, patient-centered social work services to patients and their families across the hospital setting. This role offers a collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexibility in your schedule.
This is a full-time position (32–40 hours per week) with flexible workdays, as long as availability includes one weekend day per week.
Job Summary
The Clinical Social Worker delivers both direct and indirect social work services, supporting patients and families as they navigate the psychosocial aspects of illness, treatment, and recovery. The role partners closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work
Experience
- Prior hospital experience required
- Strong understanding of the psychosocial impact of illness and disease on individuals and family systems
Licensure and/or Certification
- LCSW required
- LICSW preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Proficiency with computer systems and documentation tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
