Pay Range: $35.01 - $68.65 per hour
Job Summary:
- Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, the Enterostomal Therapist (ET Nurse) the primary responsibilities include the assessment, planning and coordination of care of the patient with ostomy, skin and/or wound care needs. The ET Nurse will work closely with nursing staff, managers of departments, physicians and other educators, throughout Emerson Health System as well as agencies and resources used in the continuum of patient care. The ET Nurse will ensure the accurate and timely flow of care plan information throughout all areas of the Health System.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education
- BSN is required
- Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years Medical/Surgical Nursing background, background in Patient and Family Education, expertise in working with ostomy, skin and wound care patient needs
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
- Current Board Certification in Enterostomal Therapy
- Current BLS certification, professional membership in field
- Skills
