Join our cardiology team as a Registered Nurse (RN), where your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills will directly impact patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while working closely with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic outpatient setting.

You’ll play a key role in triaging patients with urgent cardiac symptoms, supporting treatment plans, and educating patients and families to promote better heart health outcomes.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct nursing care to cardiology patients in accordance with clinical and professional standards
  • Triage and assess patients presenting with acute or chronic cardiac symptoms
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and affiliated providers to implement care plans
  • Perform cardiovascular assessments, including EKG interpretation and symptom evaluation
  • Support and monitor patients receiving cardiac treatments and medications
  • Provide patient education on cardiovascular conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Conduct telephone triage and respond to patient concerns in a timely manner
  • Document all patient interactions, clinical decisions, and follow-up plans in the EMR
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care

What You Bring

Required Education

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred 

Required Experience

  • Experience in cardiovascular patient care required

Preferred Experience

  • Outpatient cardiology or physician practice experience
  • Telephone triage experience
  • Critical care, CCU, or telemetry background

Licensure & Certification

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred

  • Basic arrhythmia recognition and 12-lead EKG interpretation skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
