We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Professional Development Associate to support nursing education, staff training, and professional development programs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating programs, working behind the scenes, and making a real impact on clinical excellence and patient care.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate new hire nursing orientation programs, including scheduling, materials, and logistics
- Support staff training, continuing education, and compliance initiatives
- Assist with Nurse Residency Programs, student placements, and clinical experiences
- Manage education program logistics (room setup, attendance tracking, evaluations)
- Maintain records and documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Support American Heart Association (AHA) training programs (BLS, ACLS, HeartCode)
- Collaborate with educators to support interprofessional learning and development programs
- Assist with accreditation requirements and reporting (ANCC, ANA)
- Provide administrative support, including handling emails, calls, and departmental coordination
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative, office management, or healthcare support experience preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage confidential information and work independently
