Practice Manager - ECA

Reports to the Director, managing Emerson Practice Associates (EPA) office based owned physician practices.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Associates degree in business, finance or health care administration preferred
• Experience
  • Two to five years of work experience, with management and staff responsibility, in a medical office or related business environment desirable
• Licensure and/or Certification
• Skills
  • Knowledge of managed care, claims submission, and patient collections desirable
  • Experience filing insurance claims and understanding reimbursement requirements desirable
  • Experience with patient scheduling and patient flow in a medial practice, desirable
  • Experience with practice management & EMR software desirable
  • Knowledge of medical office operations, safety and AAAHC, HIPAA and OSHA requirements desirable
  • Knowledge of clinical billing and collections laws and regulations including CPT and ICD-9 desirable
