Nursing Operations Administrator

Job Summary:
The Operations Administrator Coordinates and oversees the staffing, scheduling and operational needs for assigned units according to needs identified by the Nurse Managers in Patient Care Services. Collaborates with the Administrative Nursing Supervisors and Nurse Managers to ensure staffing is supported across all units and not just individually, including balancing staffing plans across the divisional level prior to publishing a schedule. This includes proactively addressing staffing shortages in the short and long term. Codes and enters data into the staffing, scheduling, and payroll systems to ensure timely and accurate information as well as operational efficiency. Maintains communication through the day with the assigned area Nurse Managers and Clinical Resource Nurses. Works in coordination with the Nurse Manager or Clinical Resource Nurse to maintain a regulatory ready Environment of Care. Is expected to be part of the local leadership rounding on units for regulatory checklists. Follows-Up with all ancillary departments on repairs for equipment andEnvironment of Care needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience
- Minimum two years current hospital experience
- Knowledge in staffing, scheduling and payroll principles
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Skills
- Exceptional ability to problem-solves and prioritizes issues.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to multi-task and delegate work.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
