Job Summary
Reporting to the Office Manager of Emerson Cardiovascular Associates, performs a wide variety of cardiology testing and report processing functions for both inpatients and outpatients.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma
Experience
- 3 years of EKG Technician experience required.
- Must have experience in all Electrocardiographic tests (EKG, Holter Monitor, Exercise Stress, Nuclear Stress, Persantine, and Dobutamine stress tests, Pacemaker evaluation).
- Knowledge of standard stress testing equipment including treadmill and electrocardiograph monitoring equipment.
- Demonstrate an advanced knowledge base of normal and pathological cardiopulmonary physiology and exercise metabolism and normal EKG responses at rest and exercise.
Licensure and/or Certification
- BLS healthcare provider required.
- Certified Cardiac Technician (must be completed within 6months of offer)
