NEURO/COGNITIVE SPEECH PATHOLOGIST

Hours: TBD
Reporting directly to the Speech Pathology Supervisor, the SLP is responsible for providing comprehensive care to our patients with TBI, concussion and other neurological disorders in an interdisciplinary team setting. Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and demonstrate specific expertise working with the neurological patient population. No clinical fellowship applicants. ASHA certified and MA state license required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology required.
- Experience
- Three years of experience as a Neuro/Cognitive Speech Pathologist strongly preferred.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Massachusetts required.
- C.C.C. by the American Speech, Hearing & Language Association required.
- BLS required within 4 months from hire.

- Clinical expertise for the age and type of patients seen
- Problem solving skills.
- Must execute sound judgment with all duties
- Courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public both in person and on the phone.
- Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.
