Job Summary

As the Manager of Medical Staff Peer Review and Risk Management, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability. Reporting to the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety, you will lead efforts to support high-reliability care, coordinate peer review processes, and manage risk with insight, discretion, and integrity. You will collaborate across departments, guide investigations, and help drive data-informed decisions that protect our patients, support our providers, and strengthen our care systems. Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Degree in a health care related field required
- Evidence of continuing education, specialization in Risk Management or Master’s Degree preferred
- Experience
- Clinical or healthcare organization experience preferred.
- Experience with implementation of improvement methodologies and data management preferred.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Certification in risk management or patient safety preferred
- Membership in ASHRM preferred
- Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to manage data and generate reports
- Knowledge of statistical processes and measurement techniques
- Ability to work independently and facilitate teams
- Organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Experienced Computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite and specifically Excel competency.
- Knowledge of performance improvement, root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis methodologies
- Ability to maintain confidential information and conduct sensitive inquires with discretion.
