Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Reporting to the Director, Medical Records, the Medical Records Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Medical Record Department, including record completion, release of information, birth registry, scanning and archiving, forms management, patient portal management and various data integrity roles. This role involves managing electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and leading a team to optimize health information processes. The Medical Records Manager strives to achieve a complete, accurate and timely medical record to support patient care, quality and other hospital metrics.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration or other related field preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum three years of experience medical record experience in acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities required
- Evidence of continued professional growth and knowledge of new trends and developments in medical records management
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Licensure and/or Certification:
- Current RHIA or RHIT certification preferred
- Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of patient health record management; best demonstrated by experience in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
