IT Security Intern

Hours: 11:00am-3:00pm
We are seeking two (2) interns to join our Information Security Team. The ideal candidates should be enrolled in a cybersecurity, computer science, IT or related degree/certificate program. Certifications are a plus. The intern will work closely with the Emerson Information Security team and Information Systems team and provide support for various ongoing projects. The candidate will have an opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and abilities in all aspects of an Information Security program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: The ideal candidates should be enrolled in a cybersecurity, computer science, IT or related degree/certificate program.
Experience: The ideal candidates should be enrolled in a cybersecurity, computer science, IT or related degree/certificate program.
Licensure and/or Certification: A valid Massachusetts Driver`s License may be required.
Relevant security certifications are preferred.

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Computer skills required.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve or escalate computer problems.
- Ability to interact positively with medical staff under difficult conditions.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and PC hardware.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn about new technologies, in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact favorably with people and work effectively as a team member.
