Graduate Physical Therapist

Job Summary
All duties are performed under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The new graduate physical therapist has met the requirements to sit for state licensing exam and has submitted the appropriate paperwork to Massachusetts State Licensing Board is responsible for patient care assessments, treatments and related duties, providing comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients served in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the department.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Doctorate of Physical Therapy or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited educational institution
Experience
Successful completion of internships as outlined from accredited educational institution from which employee graduated.
Licensure and/or Certification
BLS healthcare provider required.
Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts pending.
Employee has submitted application to take the next scheduled Physical Therapy licensing exam.
Employee will be expected to pass first exam. If employee fails first exam it will be determined by Clinic Manager/Supervisor/Director to extend supervised employment under which employee will file papers to sit for second exam and continue as supervised employee.
Employment may be terminated if employee fails to pass first exam and/or second exam.
