Epic Approved Trainer

Reporting to the EMR Manager, the Epic Approved Trainer plays a crucial role in the education and training of staff, clinicians, and providers, aligning their efforts with the strategic objectives of Emerson Practice Associates. This position is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs that support the efficient utilization of clinical and administrative information systems, with a focus on the Epic System EMR. The Epic Approved Trainer will ensure that training is conducted effectively, and users gain proficiency in Epic's applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in education, healthcare, another related field, or equivalent work experience.
   

• Experience: Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in clinical support and/or design and delivery of teaching adult learners in a classroom setting.

• Licensure and/or Certification: NA

• Skills: 

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Intermediate critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.
• Computer skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Previous experience with Epic and/or other ambulatory EMR systems.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
