Are you an experienced EKG Technician looking to grow your career in a dynamic, patient-centered environment? Join our specialized Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders team where your skills directly impact patient outcomes across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, you will perform a wide range of cardiology diagnostic testing and reporting, including:
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Cardiac stress testing
- Holter monitor application and analysis
- Accurate data entry and report processing
- Delivering compassionate, patient-focused care during testing
Schedule
This position includes a rotation of weekends and holidays (every 3rd, based on staffing needs).
What We’re Looking For
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
Minimum of 6 months experience as an EKG Technician
Proven proficiency in:
- EKG testing
- Stress testing
- Holter monitor application
Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Healthcare Provider required
Skills & Strengths
- Strong patient care and communication skills with the ability to put patients at ease
- Solid clinical and technical competency in cardiac diagnostics
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
