Job Summary

Are you passionate about food, quality, and creating great dining experiences? We’re looking for a dedicated cook to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Sodexo Production Manager to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production schedules
  • Read and follow menus, recipes, and food preparation instructions with accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety guidelines
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures
  • Support kitchen operations and collaborate with team members to meet service goals
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace

What You Bring

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Formal culinary or cook training program preferred

Experience

  • Completion of a formal cook training program preferred
  • 3+ years of commercial cooking or food service experience preferred

Certifications

  • ServSafe certification preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices
  • Ability to follow written menus, recipes, and instructions accurately
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
