Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Job Summary
Are you passionate about food, quality, and creating great dining experiences? We’re looking for a dedicated cook to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Sodexo Production Manager to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production schedules
- Read and follow menus, recipes, and food preparation instructions with accuracy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures
- Support kitchen operations and collaborate with team members to meet service goals
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace
What You Bring
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Formal culinary or cook training program preferred
Experience
- Completion of a formal cook training program preferred
- 3+ years of commercial cooking or food service experience preferred
Certifications
- ServSafe certification preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices
- Ability to follow written menus, recipes, and instructions accurately
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
