Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare administration? Join our team as a Medical Receptionist, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our office runs smoothly and our patients receive exceptional service.
What You’ll Do
As a Medical Receptionist, you will support our physicians and nurse practitioners with the day-to-day administrative and reception functions, ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and patients. Your responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and managing front desk operations
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow
- Maintaining accurate patient records and handling confidential information
- Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks to keep the office running efficiently
- Using electronic health record systems (Epic experience preferred) to document patient interactions
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: At least 1 year of healthcare or administrative experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification: None required
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Must be able to read and write in English
