About the Role

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy/Specimen Processing Supervisor, you will perform essential specimen handling and processing tasks for clinical laboratory testing. This includes receiving, verifying, preparing, and routing samples to appropriate technical departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, accession, and process a variety of clinical specimens for laboratory testing
• Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and data entry into laboratory systems
• Route specimens to appropriate technical areas in a timely manner
• Maintain specimen integrity and follow all safety and compliance protocols
• Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous laboratory, healthcare, or data entry experience preferred
• Familiarity with computer systems and basic office software is a plus

Licensure/Certification

• None required
