Hours: 1:00pm-9:30pm
Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Join our team and play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely diagnostic results that support patient care. As a Specimen Processing Technician, you’ll be at the heart of the laboratory operation—ensuring samples are handled with precision, efficiency, and care.
About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy/Specimen Processing Supervisor, you will perform essential specimen handling and processing tasks for clinical laboratory testing. This includes receiving, verifying, preparing, and routing samples to appropriate technical departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, accession, and process a variety of clinical specimens for laboratory testing
- Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and data entry into laboratory systems
- Route specimens to appropriate technical areas in a timely manner
- Maintain specimen integrity and follow all safety and compliance protocols
- Support workflow efficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
- Previous laboratory, healthcare, or data entry experience preferred
- Familiarity with computer systems and basic office software is a plus
Licensure/Certification
- None required
