Joining our Pharmacy Department, you'll work as a respected and essential member of the care delivery team with physicians and an interdisciplinary clinical team. We pride ourselves in creating satisfying opportunities for Pharmacists to be involved in established and advanced patient care programs such as Medication Reconciliation, Pain Stewardship, Pharmacokinetic dosing, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Anticoagulation Management. There are many opportunities for clinical involvement and providing recommendations to improve patient care outcomes as a recognized medication expert. These opportunities for intervention also include direct patient care teaching opportunities.
Our Pharmacy Department facilities are as contemporary and progressive as our practice of Pharmacy. We have automated systems for medication distribution, robotics and with plans to expand further.

Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy Services, responsible for supervising the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage and storage of drugs. Provides clinical services and drug information to physicians and nurses ensuring appropriate drug use. Participates in the training of pharmacy technicians, interns and students. Works relatively independently, under general supervision and within the limits of the regulations of the Commonwealth and established pharmacy policies and procedures.
Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
PharmD degree and/or ASHP accredited residency preferred.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years hospital pharmacy experience required.
Licensure and/or Certification
Current Massachusetts Pharmacist License required.
Ability to work independently.
Computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel and word processing. Meditech experience preferred. o Strong mathmatical ability.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Effective working relationships including, ability to deal with sensitive issues.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
