Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, assists the Director of Pharmacy Services with the financial and operational support of the Pharmacy. Advises, assists, and represents the Director on a range of financial management and operational issues affecting the department, the Naka Infusion Center, the Hospital and its community as an integrated liaison and follows up on the Director's behalf. Oversees and manages the daily review of charges and reconciliation with the support of the Director of Pharmacy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education - High school diploma or GED required; directly related accounting and management expertise in fiscal services gained through either 2 years of equivalent-level work experience OR completion of related college-level course work that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed on the job description
Experience – Proficient with Meditech and Microsoft Office and/or data entry skills. Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Skills – Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clinicians and patients. Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and follow through on tasks to completion. Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential financial issues.
